The First Palm Film Festival Accepting Entries
The New Venue is holding the first ever film festival on the Palm, the Aggressively Boring Film Festival, and they are calling on professional and amateur digital filmmakers to submit entries. The festival is being held to celebrate the release of the Sony Clié, which comes bundled with Generic Media's new gMedia for playing video clips.
All submitted films will go on display and be available for download from the New Venue and Generic Media Web sites. The top films will be presented in the Sony Clié booth at Comdex in Las Vegas, November 13th - 17th. One gMedia film will be voted "Best Film" and the winner will receive a new Sony Clié.
- Before November 10, submit your film online at New Venue as a QuickTime, AVI, GIF animation, Flash, or MPEG-1 file and they will convert it to gMedia.
- Content is either 4 bit gray or 8 bit color.
- Maximum size is 160x120. If you specify a custom size, they will preserve it.
- Maximum frame rate will vary based on frame size, but is approximately 6 to 12 frames per second. If a frame rate is defined, they will keep it, too.
- No sound.
- Content is initially only playable only on the Sony Clié.

Did I miss the logic?
If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.

Disappointed with PALM IIIc
Any palm user can help me with my problem. The amount I spent for Palm IIIc is not a joke. This was hard earned and yet I felt shortchanged with the product
