iambic Releases Bump Attack Pinball
iambic, Inc. has released Bump Attack Pinball, which features a play area that is larger than the handheld's screen. The game scrolls as the ball moves into the upper or lower regions of the tables. Play goes on in front of two different full-color backdrops. It is available until January 1 for $15, after which it will sell for $20.
Bump Attack Pinball offers players two tables. The first, Deep Sea, features an aquatic setting with a raised loop, multiple bumpers, and hidden treasure. The second table, Mars, offers two raised loops, and a gun which captures the ball and allows the player to shoot it in any direction they choose. Both of these tables offer a total of 17 missions that players try to complete in order to obtain the highest score.
iambic has set up an on-line score board for Bump Attack so that players from around the world can compete against each other.
"Bump Attack Pinball represents another leap forward in Palm OS gaming," said Vidal Graupera, President and founder of iambic. "Its realistic ball and flipper movement, as well as the incredible graphics make Bump Attack Pinball unlike anything ever seen before in this genre for the Palm OS platform."

JEREMYF'S RATING: TWO OUT OF FOUR STARS!!
RE: Lame
$20 is too much for this, given current gameplay value. Keep up the great work on the graphics, iambic, but please compare the physics of your game to some of the other pinball games....
I also give it 2 out of 4.

RE: Lame
the pop up menu slow the game down.
I agree the physics are not as good as Austin Powers pinball or architump/alchemic but it is a very fun game.
I registered it am an not unhappy about it.
Two things that really bother me right now are the disappearing flippers and the fact that tilt does nothing to the ball.
I think this is a case of the game being released before xmas before it was really ready.
price point.
Keep palm prices low. We are in a resscession.
RE: price point.
"Regular price: $14.95 PGHQ Special Price! $19.95"
I thought it was just a typo, but the checkout page had the higher price which is way too high for a game. I also agree that the demo does not give you a chance to get to like the game. One ball? Even while your are playing the one ball on the one table, it has "TRIAL MODE" scrolling down the screen.
One thing I liked about AbaBall was that you could at least become familiar with it to make an informed decision, and the introductory price of $9.95 only encouraged the purchase.

Palm
Now if you want to port Starcraft to the Palm you might be onto soemthing, but RTS games are beyod the scope of it's hardware.
