Amazon lowers Price on the Tungsten C
Amazon.com has lowered the price of the Tungsten C to $429. The Tungsten C can also be found for under $430 from several online stores via our price comparison search.
The Tungsten C is Palms most powerful handheld computer to date, with built-in high-speed 802.11b wireless. The Tungsten C runs Palm OS 5.2.1 and runs on 400mhz Intel Scale PXA255 Processor. The display is a 16-Bit, 320x320 bright transflective TFT color display, which supports more than 65,000 colors. It includes 64MB of internal memory (51MB is user accessible), the most memory for a Palm OS handheld.

Assuming 50 cents, not adding them saved the company $500 for every 1,000 units sold. And I guarentee you it's more then 50 cents.
Palm is smart. They save a bunch of money doing things like this because they know people will still but their product.

Just go into a store and really try them... Virtual Graffiti is nice for screen real estate for programs, but for writing? I think not.

That's right, Davy, you think NOT. Just because YOU spit out SMSes, doesn't mean the rest of us want to do that (especially me, since I *loathe* all IMing and cellphones!). SG suits me just fine. *You* can't write paragraphs of text in Graffiti? Too bad for you, bub. *I* can. Keep your keyboard. Have fun with it. Give me SG!

RE: New T|C price close to T2?
If the pricing is right on the new T|T, I'll have to make a decision between going to the T|T2 or upgrading the RAM/ROM on my existing device which has proven itself well. Downside to the T|T2 is Graffiti2, while the downside to upgrading the T|T is decreasing the battery life further.

Serial Connection to Cisco Console
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
RE: New T|C price close to T2?
Should the T/C be re-named the T/W for Wireless or WiFi
AND
The T/W be re-named the T/C for Cellular phone.
Seems logical to me!

RE: Tungsten T
The two Palms I purchased for the kids were like new, with the exception of the little plastic window in the flip cover was missing on the M130. A quick call and they offered to exchange the handheld or give me a credit for the flip cover. No complaints here.
