Palm Opens New Store in Washington DC
Palm has opened a new retail location at Union Station, in Washington, D.C. The store will carry all the current Palm products including Treo smartphones, the Palm TX handheld, and LifeDrive mobile manager as well as many accessories and software programs.
Palm continues to build out its retail store presence. The first store was opened three years ago, and the new Union Station store is the 26th.
Palm will continue to open new stores around the U.S. and currently has several new stores under development. The stores are reaching new users (43 percent of customers are new to handheld computing) and many are purchasing Palm's high-end products (56 percent of new users are purchasing Treo smartphones)
