Lunar Landing Simulator v2 Released
Lunar Excursion Module Simulator v2.0 is now out for the Palm OS. LEM Sim realistically simulates landing phase of the Apollo moon mission. The game features realistic physics, actual Apollo LEM instruments and NASA style sound effects.
LEM Sim is billed as the most advanced lunar lander game available. During the descent to the moon, you may have to cope with system malfunctions while you are busy flying the LEM. Some of those failures are recoverable. One example is a leak in the fuel tank. This will reduce the amount of fuel available for landing requiring you to land quickly. Other failures may be fatal. For instance, if the main descent engine shuts down for too long then NASA may as well name a new crater after you.
The game features realistic physics modeling of the descent engine and thrusters, actual Apollo LEM instruments, Houston voice announcements of your altitude, rate of descent and fuel level and other realistic sound effects.
The main changes from version 1.0 are:
LEM Sim v2.0 is available now for $9.95 USD. There is a free seven day full trial.

RE: Lunar Lander
Yes I am the LEM Simulator 2.0 develloper. I agree 100% with that version 1.0 was difficult to use!! I have not only reduce the difficulty (at least when you are at the default Rookie level!!). Also you CAN leave it in our SD card and run it from there. That way it won't take the space on your device. As you know all apps seating in the SD card get sent to the device when launched then removed when you quit the app.
I hope you enjoy version 2.0 and if you have any issues/questions either leave a message here or drop me a note at lemsim@gmail.com
I will be happy to help.
