OEM-sized 2600mAh Battery for Treo 650/700
Despite the release of the slim Treo 680, 750 and 755p, many users are sticking with the Treo 650/700 designs due to limited carrier availability of the new models or the older devices’ utilization of higher-capacity fullsize SD/SDHC cards. Now Treo 650/700 stalwarts have yet another reason to hang on to their old devices a bit longer with the release of Seidio’s new OEM-sized 2600mAh battery for the Treo 650 and 700w/wx/p.
A distinct advantage in favor of the older, thicker Treo formfactor is its ability to utilize larger standard-size batteries. The GSM Treo 680 and 750 have standard battery capacities of 1200mAh while the newer CDMA 755p has a 1600mAh battery. This still pales in comparison to the Treo 650/700 standard battery capacity of 1800mAh. Extended-life slim 680/750 batteries top out at 1600mAh and the 755p maxes out at 2100mAh but Treo 650/700 owners can now utilize Seidio’s new 2600mAh OEM-sized battery without having to change battery covers or put up with added bulk.
The new Seidio 2600mAh battery is available for purchase now and orders are currently being fulfilled by Seidio. Seidio are also offering special introductory pricing of $42.95 available for a limited time only. This is a substantial discount from the standard price of $59.95 and only a $3 more than the older 2400mAh design. Seidio has not announced plans to bolster the capacity of their slim 680/750 or 755p batteries.
A battery rated at 2600mAh would offer an ideal compromise between the astounding battery life of the bulky 3200mAh battery and the slimmer thickness afforded by the standard Treo battery cover. To sweeten the pot for current Treo 650/700 owners who might upgrade to a 755p in the near future, Seidio is also promising to release an extended battery cover for separate purchase. A 755p-specific cover would permit this battery to be used in both current and future Treos, albeit at the expense of extending the size of that device.

RE: Seidio Making Lotsa Friends
It's good, but not great. The stock battery qualified as "barely adequate"; this one is now "average". As opposed to the 650, which was "Good", IMO.

Seidio Making Lotsa Friends
Although, I would like to see the 44% jump for the 680/750, that they are getting for this. That would bring it to almost 1750mah.
