Palm Releases New Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard
Palm has released a new Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard, confirming our rumor report from last week. The keyboard features five rows of full-size keys (including numbers) and folds up for compact portability. It has a pull out easel dock to prop up your device. Palm says the unit will provide up to five months of battery life from 2 AAA battery cells.
The Palm Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard is available now from the Palm.com store for $99.99. Its compatibility lists includes the: Treo 650, 680, 700p/w/wx, Treo 750, Tungsten E2 and Palm TX.

Yep, bad key layout once again.

Nothing New Here; Simply a Rebranded Keyboard

I'm puzzled why Palm hasn't commissioned the Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard:

perhaps iGo are keeping the best to themselves?
In my view it's a superior product with better key size, layout and "stowaway" action. It's also universal should anyone feel the need to abandon the Palm ship...

Anybody looking for a Stowaway Sierra on the cheap?

Of course, I don't know how interesting any of this really is, but now you've got it in your brain cells so you're stuck with it. --Gary Larson

Usable without driver?
If you try to pair it with a device, it of course asks for a passkey. What is the passkey - if there is one?
It is supremely annoying if this keyboard requires a driver to use. Maybe I'm nuts for thinking this.
