Treo 680 Extended Battery Now Available

Treo 680 extended batterySeidio's 2400mAh Extended Battery for the Treo 680 is now available from the PIC Accessory store. This extended battery provides approximately 100% more capacity than the original 1200mAh cell the 680 ships with. It only adds an additional 5mm on the back to accommodate the extra power.

The Treo 680 2400mAh Extended Battery is currently available for $49.95. The purchase price includes the battery and a replacement battery door designed to fit the Treo 680. The replacement cover is available in all four Treo 680 color options.

it would be nice if the upcoming 2100mAh Treo 755 battery WITHOUT the battery door were priced in line with this one. Oh well, early adopters are often punished...

that's one of the weirdest things? Only thing that I can think of is that the size of the 680 battery is "off the beaten path" for parts that are common, requiring a total design. That would either not be worth it, or the reason for the delay. I fear the former.

Seidio products are of sub-par build quality, and their Customer Service is horrible!!!

I bought a Crystal Case and Holster for my Treo 680 and got nothing but scratches and damage to my Treo!
