Pilot Install lets users install any kind of PalmOS files without having to perform a full HotSync. Their new version now supports saving files directly to expansion cards with VFS. -envi.con

Palm Pilot Pilots is a Yahoo! Groups site for pilots who use Palm Pilots (and other PDAs using the Palm OS). This is a place to discover new software, troubleshoot problems, uncover tricks, share PQAs, and compare notes with fellow pilots who use Palm Pilots in the cockpit. There are a myriad of Palm applications for aviation, including GPS, flight planning, wireless radar, log books, E6B calculations, and studying for ratings. -Bill Adler

Lumos is a trivia game based on the Harry Potter series of books. It contains over 150 questions from all four Harry Potter books, and allows the user to specify which book to be quizzed on. It is $5 shareware. -Tracy Dreslinski

Works with specific Palm Desktops?

I was never able to get it to work on the S320.

I use it on the current and previous desktop versions,
in both of them it's work fine.
it work fine even when the desktop isn’t running, so I don’t think it rely on the desktop version,
make shore you configure the right Com port...

To add to what was mentioned in the article, you can also hot-sync .bmp and .jpg images to your Palm device. These pictures look great on my new Palm m525!
