Robert Jen has announced a new Christmas Complete songbook for BabyMelodyPilot. The complete lyrics to 19 holiday classics are presented karaoke-style for your caroling pleasure. BabyMelodyPilot is $5 and proceeds are being donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund through the end of the year. -RJ

3DAGames has released 3D Star Fighter Pilot. It is now available for $14.50. -Alan

WAGWARE Family BINGO allows a whole group to play and only one handheld is needed. Players use printed cards (kit includes an app for the PC to print 3 different sized cards, up to 9 per page to reduce paper use) and a Palm OS app to call the BINGO numbers. Family BINGO is now available for $6.25. This introductory price is good through Dec. 25. After then, the price will go up to $10. -Kelly Wagner

3D Star Fighter Pilot is impressive

I downloaded the demo and tried it out on my Prism. It's a really nice game. The 3D effect as you go through space works quite well, and I found the action to be pretty challenging. It reminds me of the Star Trek Simulator in the arcades around 1982, as you're in a 3D space, but you are only moving on one plane. I think I might have to get that Prism Gameface I've wanted.

This is a great game. It is quite challenging to zap the bad guys, as the controls and perspective are so different from anything else I have played, but once you get used to it, it is quite impressive. I don't spend much time playing games on my prism, but this game (and that Defender game) make me contemplate a gameface for my Prism.
Programs like this, Zap 2016, Skolia and Serious Sam really show what these little handhelds are capable of.
