Looks interesting.
I hope they added Reverb, Echo, etc effects like in GSPlayer for WM.
They claim to have improved audio quality; really curious to see to what extent.
AAC lovin'

Price. No wonder they can afford AAC.
Should be 19.95$ for Deluxe.
No screen blanking for the Zodiac
So far I have found no way to get the screen to turn off and have pTunes still play music. If anyone comes up with something before NormSoft provides a fix, please post it for the rest of us.
I'm still waiting for the mythical color HandEra.

RE: No screen blanking for the Zodiac
Ok, I got a response from NormSoft. Sorry all you Zodiac users. Looks like pTunes 3.1.8 is what you are stuck with.
Here's the reply from NormSoft:
I'm sorry to say that, because the Zodiac is not longer being sold or
supported by Tapwave (which has gone out of business), we were not able
to retain support for screen blanking on this device.Pocket Tunes 3.1.8 works well on the Zodiac, so I would recommend going
back to that version if you wish to continue using the screen turn-off
ability.Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
When responding, please reply to this message (leaving the case # in
the subject line) rather than starting a new message.Take care,
Tim

I just tried v4
Gorgeous new graphical interface.
And seems to me the sound is better; has more pure bass.
I hope the TX2 gets rid of the soundchip's white noise. What causes that anyways? Cheap chips or overamplification?
I wonder if someone could program a white noise neutralizer, like they use on airplanes. It would listen to your device's white noise then play a track of noise to neutralize it. hmm
