Comments on: Toshiba Announces a 16GB microSDHC Card
All of the new SDHC memory cards comply with the SD memory standard Ver. 2.00, and the two new SDHC cards announced today support class 6 ultra fast read/write speed - a maximum write speed of 20MB per second, delivering high performance for continuous shooting of still images and recording video images. The new microSDHC can be used with an adapter that allows it to be used in SDHC slots.

RE: Excellent!
Maybe Palm's Borat-wannabe hipster Claus spokescreature (he? she? it?) can put in a well-timed announcement on the Palm Blog with how the flexibility of 4 separate 4GB microSDHC cards is vastly preferable to one single 16gig card.
Pilot 1000->Pilot 5000->PalmPilot Pro->IIIe->Vx->m505->T|T->T|T2->T|C->T|T3->T|T5->Zodiac 2->TX->Verizon Treo 700P->Verizon Treo 755p
Maybe this will help push down the existing 16 GB cards.
RE: Maybe this will help push down the existing 16 GB cards.
My first SD card (actually I believe it was an MMC) was 64MB, cost $125, and I thought I got the deal of a lifetime. At least it felt like that when my Handera accepted it with a smile.
Now if Palm would only finally wake up realize it's 2009 and that people actually *DO* want storage in their smartphones. The tiny internal RAM, the 4GB external limit on everchanging flash formats is NOT helping them. THAT'S the stuff to change, not the paint colors on their loss leading Centro toys.
Paying my annual PDA update tax to Palm since 1997.
